Zkittlez Seeds
The wonderfully named Zkittlez strain is a strong indica-dominant combination of its genetic parents, Grape Ape and Grapefruit. Both of these are known for their berry hues and sweet taste, with hints of grapes, and this is passed onto the Skittles weed; ideal for those who prefer a very sweet taste, almost reminiscent of fruit candy.

Often mistaken for the skittles strain, the Zkittlez strain won 1st Place for the best Indica at the 2015 Cannabis Cups in San Francisco and Michigan, and 1st Place at the 2016 Emerald Cup. All seeds germinated together and was pretty consistent through the growing process. Nice pink hairs to add to the zkillz effect. Smells very sweet and tasted great. Makes for some nice rosin as well.

First time grower
As a first time grower (outdoor) I’m very pleased so far. I sprouted 3 of the 5 seeds I purchased and all three are thriving at the 6 week mark. I’ve brought them inside a few nights when overnight temps fell into the 40’s (in June – gotta love Michigan) but they seem to be doing great. Having a blast with it.

Started with 2 seeds. 3 in reserve. One survived to seedling. A slow start, but seems healthy and gaining momentum. She’s 7 weeks old. Wish me luck!

Zzzzkittlezzz FTW!!!
Almost was greedy with my Blue Headband plants and nearly denied a trade request from a friend for a Zkittlez plant. My better nature led me to a decision to make the trade after a bit of groaning on his behalf, and I’m VERY glad I made the trade. This rivals the headband for best looking (and smelling) buds in the garden. When the days started getting shorter, she came out of the gate like Sea Biscuit, the first of six strains to flower onset and will be first to harvest during first week of October (south of SF Bay Area). Smells like sweet tropical candy for sure. There’s no hiding your garden from anybody downwind from this plant. Super thick dense trichome laden buds with not a speck of mold, though it has been abnormally dry this fall with not a single morning of dew since week 3. Can’t wait to taste this girl. She looks and smells divine.

Greatful I chose this strain from Seed King. Being that the description said 1st place in Michigan, my mind was made up. The lady will be 60 days next week, the 21st.

Ready for cure
I didnt have a magnifying glass so i think i may have waited too long, or not long enough.I began to flush and something told me it still needed more time and nutes so next feed she started burning up and turning yellow. The terps smell and taste CRAZY but density wise i wasnt pleased, and the color itself to me looks off based on what I’ve seen on here. Any suggestions on what i might have done wrong by the looks? Fox farm nutes and soil

It’s been a good experience growing zkittlez they grew fast lots of helthy branches and and beautiful buds with purple hairs they were very easy to grow they take care of themselves if there in the right environment I would definitely recommend zkittlez to anyone that wants a easy to med grow that has some room for them to branch out and produce some great bud thats fire… I’d definitely purchase them again
