CBD Kush History
CBD Kush strain is here to meet the increasing demand for non-psychoactive medicinal cannabis strains. Dutch Passion worked with CBD Crew to develop CBD Kush by crossing Kandy Kush with a CBD rich strain. This indica-leaning hybrid is unique in that it’s not a high THC strain. It is enriched with CBD and holds ratios ranging from 1:1 to 4:1. With these kinds of CBD to THC proportions, it’s more than capable of providing potent therapeutic relief with a healthy buzz.
Appearance
CBD Kush has large chunky flowers that display the typical indica bud structure, with leaves spiraling inward toward the central stem. The foliage exhibits a bright emerald green shade with twisting rust-colored pistils. Because it was carefully bred for low THC, CBD Kush has a reduced volume of psychoactive resin; the visible trichomes are light blond, giving the flowers a soft amber glow.
Aroma
CBD Kush has a remarkable flavor, a sweet and sour taste with a light floral exhale. Breaking open the buds yields rich notes of Afghani hash, dark chocolate, and incense.
Terpenes
CBD Kush’s terpene profile closely resembles its parent strain, Kandy Kush. High amounts of limonene, caryophyllene, linalool, and myrcene provide a delicious and therapeutic smoke. Dried flowers carry unmistakable undertones of wood, lemon rind, vanilla, and pine needles.
CBD Kush Strain Cannabinoids
This CBD Kush strain has a 16% Cannabidiol punch with a small hit of THC.
CBD Kush offers many potential health benefits. It can help alleviate anxiety, depression, and stress while also soothing hyperactive tendencies. Reduced chronic and acute pain from arthritis, migraines, PMS, and multiple sclerosis may also be possible thanks to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic qualities.
Effects
CBD Kush produces a high that creeps up slowly, often taking up to 15 minutes from the first puff. The psychoactivity is so subtle that users may have to wait even longer to notice the effects. Eventually, a warm and tingly relaxation starts to spread from the head down through the core and limbs. As opposed to a traditional whopping THC high, smokers are more likely to feel a pervasive sense of physical ease and fluidity. Because it brings little to no risk of neurotic thought patterns, CBD Kush is a good option for users prone to panic attacks or greening out.
Growing CBD Kush Seeds
CBD Kush is a sturdy and compact plant with typical indica growth traits. Usually, it has short internodal spacing with broad fan leaves. You’ll need to prune regularly to promote sufficient airflow and allow light penetration. Finding a home for this plant is never too difficult, thanks to its small stature. Apart from basic manicuring, it needs a constant temperature of 70 to 79°F with a semi-humid climate. CBD Kush thrives in both soil or hydroponic setups, but organic compost tends to produce higher quality and more aromatic flowers. CBD Kush ordinarily finishes outdoor flowering by the second or third week of October with each plant producing up to 28oz each. Indoor budding takes 9 weeks and mature plants produce up to 12oz/m2. Medically effective strains like CBD Kush can help to change some of the misconceptions of the cannabis plant. For now, only limited amounts of CBD Kush seeds have entered the market. It’s still early enough to get in and start pumping this delightful strain.
