California Dream Strain History
Time to wake up and discover the profound characteristics of the California Dream cannabis strain. Cali Dream is a 70/30 indica dominant hybrid from distinguished Afghani and Mexican landrace genetics. She contains all of the energy needed to push through a busy day while also keeping you chilled out and stress-free. The response to this strain has been overwhelmingly favorable. Many dispensaries are struggling to keep up with the demand. California Dream is currently available in seed form, enabling you to grow your own magnificent medicine.
California Dream Appearance
California Dream buds are conical shaped and incredibly dense. Olive green flowers with juicy purple undertones and radiant orange hairs characterize the appearance of this amazing bud. A coat of sparkling pearl white trichomes decorates every surface.
Aroma
California Dream has a piercing tangy citrus aroma that energizes the senses. Exposing the buds to open-air fills the room with a whopping skunky scent. When smoking, you notice a blend of citrus, fruity, and minty flavors. On exhale, it leaves a herbaceous candy aftertaste. Soon, you feel transported back in time to a Moroccan tea house with swirls of warm spices, mint, and hash dancing in the air.
Terpenes
California Dream terpenes have sweet grapefruit, herbal, and minty aromas. Cali Dream contains high amounts of the terpene beta-caryophyllene. This terpene was one of the first non-cannabinoids discovered to stimulate our natural cannabinoid receptors. In addition to this, Cali Dream also contains noticeable amounts of the terpenes bisabolol, myrcene, humulene, and, linalool.
Cannabinoids
California Dream has been celebrated for its potential to alleviate physical and mental ailments. California Dream strain has analgesic and anti-inflammatory qualities that may relieve the discomfort caused by migraines, arthritis, and fibromyalgia. Her THC content is 17-24%. Conversely, the CBD level is almost 0%. When the effects of other strains dwindle, California Dream holds fast and delivers a long-lasting and relaxed high. Although generally considered beginner-friendly, those who have just recently begun using cannabis should start slowly. Taking too large of a dose can produce some dizziness and anxiety.
Effects
California Dream creates a layered inception style high. Like a dream within a dream. First, an instant cerebral buzz begins with a tingling feeling that travels down the body. The mind becomes stimulated with creativity and openness. California Dream is a popular strain in Silicon Valley. Many business professionals appreciate the inspired high that helps with thinking outside the box. The buzz is sociable in lower doses. On the other hand, if you want to swim in the murky waters, a larger dose is sure to help you drift off to sleep.
Growing California Dream Clones
California Dream is a hardy and fast-growing strain. It’s mold and rot-resistant, providing growers with a no-nonsense harvest. Cali Dream strain is a large and bushy plant with sturdy branches that carry enormous colas. Outdoors, untrained plants can stretch to a height of 8 feet tall and resemble tropical Christmas trees. SCROG and SOG growing techniques can help manage the grow space and increase yields. Indoor plants stretch to 3-4 feet tall. When flowering begins, it takes 8-9 weeks before providing a harvest of 16-20oz/m2. Outdoor plants should be harvested from late September to mid-October, yielding 20-28oz/plant.

First time with this. Growing from clones and thinned out to the best plants. Will clone from her and keep a mother.

Clones easily and grows as well outside as inside. Great day strain.

All clones popped, a plus. I started them in small rock wool plugs and DWC. After a few days to a couple weeks put them in 4x4x2.5 inch rock wool cubes, ideal for ScrOG. These plants tended to be tall and I removed 2 males. The are currently in ScrOG training under slightly weighted chicken wire in a 2x2x4 foot ventilated tent. Will check back at harvest.
