Jack Herer Seeds is one of the most heavily awarded strains since its beginning in the 1990s. Named after the well known American cannabis activist and author Jack Herer, Sensi Seeds created this dazzling strain by crossing Northern Lights #5 with Shiva Skunk and Haze. Jack is a 50/50 hybrid with THC levels of 21% and a CBD of .07%. Dutch pharmacies have recognized the many medical benefits of this strain and authorized its use for medical patients in the Netherlands.
Appearance
Jack Herer has thick buds with rounded tops, dark green leaves and rust-colored pistils. An abundant amount of resin coats the buds, leaves, stems and even the plant stalks.
Jack Herer Flavor
A spicy and complex aroma, with whiffs of lemon and black pepper. The smell is stimulating and very heady. Herbal hints of sage and basil dance across the tongue while smoking or vaping. A heavy presence of terpinolene gives a minty and citrus evergreen taste to extracts and edibles made with Jack Herer.

Jack Herer is known for its long-lasting psychedelic and motivational high. There is still enough indica in the plant to keep you grounded and relaxed without creating anxiety.
Growing Jack Herer Seeds
The Jack Herer strain has several phenotypes, most of them produce a tall and early flowering sativa dominant plant. An occasional more indica leaning phenotype will pop up about 20% of the time. All of the Jack plants are best grown in a warm climate with low humidity. Indoor gardens would do well to employ the SOG and SCROG growing methods. 10-12 weeks of flowering for indoor plants with an average yield of 18oz/m2 is standard. While outdoors, Jack finishes flowering in late September and provides a typical harvest of 18oz/plant.

A little difficult to order if you are not using crypto currency but worth the effort. Just make sure you have the correct company name and address to send a money order to. Ordered multiple strains so far all have germinated. For me Jack and super skunk are old stand by’s and seem to do well outdoors. I have recommended foli farms llc to my friends and will order again.

Jack From seed to flower
This was my first attempt at Jack Herer. Had to try it because well….. it’s Jack Herer and he’s a legend so out of respect I wanted to grow the strain named after him!!! Started 2 Jack Herer feminized auto-flower seeds in wet paper towel between plates. Both seeds germinated within a couple of days. Placed germinating seedlings in an organic soil mix and started them under lights in a grow tent. Slowly transitioned them to outdoor light over a week. Each plant had a slightly different phenotype with one being more Sativa dominant in appearance and the other having more of a hybrid appearance. Both plants started their flower cycle earlier than anticipated. The Sativa phenotype started the earliest. Both plants were approximately 2 feet in height when they began to transition to flower. At that time I switched my liquid fertilizer supplement from veg to bloom. This was my first go with auto flower seeds. I would recommend them to the beginner grower as the plants are extremely healthy and easy to maintain. In the future I would probably go with feminized only seeds to have better control of the flowering cycle. However, if you have a small space or want smaller flowering plants this might work well as the plants seemed to trigger into flowering around the same time. I am probably going to try the remaining seeds hydroponically to see if there is a difference in flowering patterns based on the system used.

I only popped 2/ 5 and got a Prom Queen
I think I got a unicorn of the Jack. Maybe not,but one is an all around amazing specimen, a true Queen(a tad leafy). The other? Meh….. like that cousin with the bad arm….. had a phosphorus deficiency early that carried through until heavily fed. Plant structure was odd. Bud stacking and size are off. BUT THAT ONE…. I got cuts ‘;) pics- veg…prom queen July 23th after node clean up. Pics of flower(Sept 28th), well, I’m sure you tell who’s who.

Purchased 3 seeds from foli farms llc, germinated 2 and both popped within 24hrs. Planted them in soil and both took off immediately. This strain is a real beauty and is super bushy and very healthy. We are just about 60 days in and both are doing great just waiting for them to start budding. Excellent genetics will definitely be purchasing more seeds in the future. Super easy to grow, tremendous yield, very strong. I tried the Jack for my outdoor crop this year and am delighted with the results. Incredibly healthy all Summer long, no nutrient issues, no bugs, no mold.
I let them go to full height which was 9’ and grew in 5 gallon buckets, old school. Started in May with harvest 1st week of October. Just basic care with a flowering fertilizer added in September. One of the best crops of my life. Never had a yield like this. Love this strain. Great job you guys.

I have a few Jack plants growing that I planted along with Purple Haze. The jacks are 2-3 ft already with massive buds! The purple haze are on their 3rd set of leaves hardly any germinated. All jacks germinated. Will be buying more soon!

4 out of 5 ain’t bad.
4 of my 5 autoflowering Jack Herer seeds became decent plants. Not sure what is up with the 5th one. A couple of days after flowering all of the big fan leaves fell off and the ends of the sugar leaves started to turn brown. It’s been a couple of weeks since that happened and it seems to have stopped growing.

Started two out of three seeds I bought. One popped nicely and now coming to life in my greenhouse. One popped but not sprouting. See pic. Going to try my third seed but it doesn’t look good like the seed casing is damaged. Seed also looks quite small.

Jack Herer Auto Flower Seed delivery & germination
I planted 2 JH seeds on 7-10-20. As expected they were both healthy vigorous and strong seedlings by 7-14-20. I plant in dirt, actually coco. I plant by laying the seed on top of the dirt and then sprinkling dirt on top of the seed to about half an inch. I then soak the soil with about a half cup of water. In every instance with Seed King, my seeds emerge through the soil in 3 or 4 days without fail. I have grown Kali Mist photo period and AK-47 Auto from Seed king and they all germinated and grew quite well without exception. One must bear in mind that not every seed grows just like every other seed. Genetics are not homogenized with sexual reproduction. If you want identical plants you must engage in cloning / planting cuttings from a solitary donor mother plant. Anyway, as usual, foli farms llc delivers good products and is trust worthy and reliable. Here is my pic of my germinated Jack Herer Auto Flower on day 5 of dropping a dry seed into dry dirt. I had postponed writing this review of JH because I am in the middle of farming 2 AK-47, and 3 Kali Mist, plants the past 4 months and haven’t had the opportunity to start a new grow. And, I didn’t want to post a review without having witnessed the performance of the plants. So, after 5 days, I can testify that my seeds were delivered healthy and forthright, and should perform as well as all of my prior seeds from SK. The picture on the left is 4 plants in late flower. I did no topping or training. I just watered and gave them salt based fertilizers. The picture on the right is my Jack Herer AF at 5 days after dropping dry seeds into dry dirt.
